If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for a Client Intake Coordinator to support a team in our Big 4 Accounting and Tax leading client's downtown Calgary office. If hired you will work full-time hours on a 6-month assignment, be paid $19.29 per hour, and be responsible for helping manage their file openings and due diligence for all files nationally. You will need to open all files in accordance with strict guidelines from our affiliated accounting firm, together with the Law Society Rules per Province., including the following:

You must be willing to learn new data recording programs, adapt well to changes on short notice, be able to work independently as well as being a part of a large team, and work well under pressure.

• Obtaining information from our lawyers and paralegals to open files
• Conduct due diligence for new onboarding clients
• Prepare engagement letters and/or engagement emails directly with clients and/or with our affiliated accounting firms world and nation wide
•Create and update client records for new files and existing files
•Save all corresponding documents and information into an electronic system for all staff to access when needed
•Open new files in Time & Billing system, including receiving and reviewing requests for file openings; ensuring accuracy of information submitted
•Update Time & Billing system with new information

Qualifications
• Previous experience in financial industries or law office would be considered an asset
• Minimum 1 year of related experience
• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Proficiency with Google Suite would be considered an asset
• Aptitude to learn new computer systems
• Knowledge of Office Timesheets and iPower would be considered an asset
• Great attention to detail and able to prioritize tasks
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Dependable with respect to confidentiality and policies
• Proactive, self-disciplined, self-motivated with ability to work effectively under pressure
• Flexible, team player that is client service oriented
• High school degree or equivalent, university or college preferred
• Other Information: Flexibility to work overtime when required
