Our client in the automotive industry in Guelph has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a CMM Programmer to join their team!

In this role, responsibilities include:
- CMM programming and operation to confirm product conformance to drawing requirements
- Ability to analyze fit and function of components and assemblies to identify key dimensions affecting performance
- Analyzing and reporting measurement results
- Identify and set up appropriate measuring tools/methods to ensure accurate measurement results
- Product functional testing to confirm product meets customer quality requirements
- Radiator and Condenser Testing, including cut check analysis, pressure pulse and burst testing
- Problem investigation and resolution, including building prototypes to confirm the effectiveness of proposed countermeasures
- Gauge calibration and gauge R&R studies to ensure accuracy and suitability of measurement systems, as required

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years of CMM programming and operating experience
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Post secondary education in related field
- Experience with MCOSMOS would be ideal
- Expert knowledge of metrology, GD&T and blue print readings
- Proficient in the use of other precision measuring equipment
- Working knowledge of calibration methodology and gauge R&R studies
- Experience in calculating and analyzing control charts and capability studies
