Are you a CNC operator with experience operating Mazak Vertical Milling machines with fanuc controllers? Located centrally in Cambridge, we are looking for 2 CNC operators (new grads are welcome to apply).

What will you be doing as a CNC machine operator?

- performing quality checks and working as a team to ensure you are producing top quality parts for the nuclear industry
- working with a team
- loading 2-10 lb parts in to the machine and unloading them
- using precision measuring tools such as verniers, calipers and height gauges
- learning from others in the shop
- maintaining a clean work space
- operating machines in a safe and effective manner
- supporting lean manufacturing principles

- temporary to hire opening
- $18 - $22 hourly
- flexible day shift hours (you can start anywhere from 7 am to 8 am)
- working with co-workers with significant tenure
- own locker on site
- moderate, laid back pace (accuracy is VERY important)
- on a bus route

- previous CNC machine operation experience, ideally on vertical mills (1+ years)
- references that can attest to your reliability and punctuality
- able to read blueprints
- able to demonstrate your knowledge of machining and tooling
- perform minor machine maintenance
- willing to help out in other areas when required
- high attention to detail is required
- must be familiar with H&S protocols (working in an unsafe manner will not be tolerated)
