Our client in Edmonton is looking to fill multiple CNC Machinist roles right away! You will be responsible for interpreting production order information, drawings and blueprints, as well as part descriptions in an efficient manner. By identifying and troubleshooting machine problems, you will ensure that the shop stays operational and is producing high quality products for their customer base. You will also be responsible for the measurements of various parts to ensure quality standards are met. Communication is very important, as you will be required to relay any information to your supervisor including any issues with parts, drawings, programming, or the machines themselves. The successful applicants for the CNC Machinist role will have an understanding of G-Code and can make adjustments to the programming as necessary. The applicant must have;
• Prior CNC Machinist experience
• Familiarity of Fanuc G-Code
• The ability to set-up and work under minimal supervision
• Both mill and lathe experience is an asset
• Experience with Okuma machines is an asset
• The ability to complete their work in a safe manner
• The ability to clearly communicate with their team and supervisor
