The ideal candidate is an experienced Machinist with good mechanical ability, can work well independently, is able to transition from task-to-task as needed and has the ability to embrace change.

The Machinist will conduct CNC machining and drilling operations. The Machinist will also assist in the movement of materials within the plant, including the use of forklifts, side-loaders, and overhead cranes. They will support warehouse operations, including helping to load trucks, and various other duties to support manufacturing activities. The Machinist conducts inspections of units including visual checks and dimensional measurements

At least four years of experience with CNC equipment such as quick drill and boring machines.
At least four years of experience setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of tools to produce precision parts and instruments in a manufacturing environment.
At least four years of experience calculating dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
experience programming CNC machines.
experience in reading blue prints and following drawing specifications.
Have a current forklift license or the ability to attain one within one month.
Have a current crane license or the ability to attain one within one month.
Ability to read, write, and speak in English
