CNC MACHINIST- Vaughan (Milling and Lathe positions available) (Fanuc and Mazak)

Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for a new challenge within the Aerospace industry? Are you use to working with tight tolerances, a variety of materials and doing independent setups? How would you like to work in a very organized people first environment with newer CNC machinery?

What Else does this position offer?
- Full time permanent position offering overtime
- Straight Afternoon shift (Mon-Thur: 4:15pm-1:15am, Fri 3:15pm-11:15pm)
- 44 hours/ week, Overtime after 42 hours (Guaranteed 2 hours overtime/week)
- $22-$28/hr based on experience and machinery knowledge
- Health, Dental and Prescription coverage after 3 months
- RRSP company matching upto 5%
- Quarterly Cash Bonus potential
- Safety shoe and Glasses allowance

Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Ability to create layouts, read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Fully understand geometric tolerances
- Ability to identify wear of cutting tools (inserts, drills, end mills, boring bars ect)
- Ability to change and set cutting tools
- 3+ years experience running CNC Lathe OR Milling machine (Fanuc or Mazak)
- Experience with precision machining, to tolerance of .001
- Able to work independently to setup and operate machinery, minor maintenance and troubleshooting


In this position you are an important team member who is responsible for the setup of machines through the proper tools, and most efficient techniques. Align vises, fixtures with indicator to be parallel or square to a reference surface. Set axis, load and unload program. Full operation of machinery, check first parts to ensure dimensions and tolerances.

You will also be responsible for modifying programs, changing tool length, and diameter offsets, fixture and parallel offsets. Modifying and grinding cutting tools as required, use of proper feed and speed rates for maximum productivity
