Can you set up and operator a CNC Turret Punch Press? Do you have experience with programming and strong experience with G-Codes?

We have a full time position available in Scarborough on a straight DAY shift! Check out the details below


Duties & Responsibilities

Inspect all raw materials arriving in the department, ensuring gauge and quality
Set up tools in press and maintain punch quality
Interpret blueprints and instructions to manufacture product
Set up and operate machines, independently with limited supervision
Operate machine after setup to fabricate all parts, while maintaining production and quality goals
Adjust the machine as needed to ensure the quality of the parts
Ensure work area is kept clean and free from hazards


Advantages

- Straight Day Shift 7am-330pm
- Opportunity for Overtime


Qualifications
Do you have what it takes?

- Must have at least 3-4 years of CNC turret punch press setup and operation experience
- High school diploma; college diploma or apprenticeship in related field is preferred
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Proficient mathematical/technical skills are required
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work in a fast paced, teamwork environment with minimal supervision
- Excellent time-management, and high attention to detail
