Do you have a strong customer service background and previous banking experience? If so, one of our banking clients is looking for a Collections Officer for a 6 month contract in Toronto!

Pay: $18/hour and $1.02 shift premium for any shifts ending at 9 pm

Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 12:00am & Saturday 9:00am - 6:00pm & Sunday 1:00pm - 5:00pm (rotating shifts)
Must be flexible to work within this

As a Collections Officer your main job duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage a queue of past-due accounts
- Initiate outbound calls to all delinquent customers based on timing tree.
- Handle all inbound calls on delinquent accounts
- Ensure accuracy of customer information in KeySys by maintaining computerized notes and updating residence, employment and banking information.
- Perform basic skip tracing functions when required.
- Create positive customer relations by offering strategies to delinquent customers for the benefit of TDAF and the customer.
- Provide and recommend solutions on delinquent accounts such as Deferral payments, Re-writes and Repossessions.
- Escalate accounts and issues following Collections policies & procedures.
- Professional customer service when handling customers over the phone

Qualifications
- Banking experience
- 2 years call center experience
- 2 years collections experience
- 5/5 communication skills
- 2 years home and auto insurance industry experience
- Results and service oriented (capable at interacting at all levels)
