Our client, an international distribution company, is hiring a Collections Specialist for a short term contract with potential for extension.

Initiate collection activities with customers including telephone calls, emails, and other communications Maintain, update, monitor and review collection notes in ERP
Research aging and payment history for resolution and payment
Work with internal departments to resolve problems preventing payment
Prioritize workload so that collection efforts result in maximum benefits
Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned
Professionally represent the company at all times
Adhere to all Company policies and work rules

Qualifications
3-5 Years of Commercial Collections experience
Proven track record of success in prior collection roles
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
Proficient working knowledge of SAP or a major ERP
Ability to communicate clearly (verbally and in writing) utilizing the English language
Ability to understand and explain complex billing structures and invoice calculations
Must be skilled in the organization and management of time, efforts and resources
Must be reliable and punctual

Preferred wholesale construction experience but not essential if a demonstrated history of success in a B2B environment exists.
