Our client, one of Canada's top banks, is hiring a Communications Analyst for a 3 month contract with long term potential.
• The Client Communications Management team is accountable for managing the client communications for all Global Regulatory Initiatives within RBC Capital Markets. This includes working with Sales teams to ensure a consistent approach and understanding of the regulations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Standardize and centralize Global Regulatory Initiatives bulk communications to RBC Capital Markets Institutional Clients.
• Facilitate internal communications to ensure message consistency and transparency around client-facing touch points.
• Manage the bulk emailing of communications, including acting on rejected emails using internal and external sources to determine correct contact, and then updating internal contact repositories.
• Following up with Clients/Sales to ensure responses
• Create and document processes and procedures around client communications for Global Regulatory Initiatives.
• Create and maintain client contact information for Global Regulatory Initiatives such as, (but not limited to) Tax Operations, Compliance, Legal, utilizing the new Capital Markets Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool.
• Review and comply with Royal Bank of Canada policies applicable to your business activities.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Capital Markets – Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, Futures, Commodities and other Derivative products.
• Regulatory knowledge; MiFID II, RMR
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
• A proactive, self-motivated team player with strong organizational and time management skills (They must be able to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks to meet the fast-paced demands of a trading environment).
• A collaborative mind-set and strong interpersonal skills.
