Our client, one of Canada's top banks, is hiring a Change Management/Communications Specialist for a contract with very long term, 2 year potential.

• The Communications Specialist is responsible for helping to design and execute change communication tactics and deliverables for the Source to Settle Program using a variety of communications channels and methods. This role involves working with other team members as well as directly with business partners to develop innovative employee communications, presentations, articles, leadership speaking points, key messages and other related communication activities to support organizational change initiatives.

The Communication Specialist will build/create materials, awareness decks, communications, facilitate lunch and learns, and work on a number of workstreams with multiple audiences with ability to speak to audiences in “plain” language. This person will have the ability and desire to support the change leadership team in successfully delivering the Source to Settle change management program.

Job Description:
• Provide change communications expertise to support people change management activities to address non-routine and potentially high impact needs for assigned programs/project
• Develop content and copy for online and other communications media that is engaging, concise, and easy-to-understand
• Ability to research, synthesize and communicate technical and non-technical information to a variety of audiences and present creative solutions/materials to internal business groups/employees to illustrate concepts and gain feedback
• Copyedit, proof-read, and revise communications
• Support the development and implementation of an overall communications strategy and ensure that engagement and communication strategies and plans are developed in response to audience/stakeholder analysis and align with the change management goals/benefits of the program/project
• Collaborate with project/program team members or other lines of business responsible for communication, training, etc., ensuring that related strategies align to and co-ordinate with the program change management mitigating strategies
• Manage and contribute to a robust, current and information rich social collaboration sites (e.g. Communities) and identify opportunities to raise awareness internally (e.g. Case Studies, Communities, Lunch and Learn Webinars)
• Provide support for communications measurement and improvement through a variety of feedback channels including survey distribution, analysis and incorporation of lessons learned

• Evidence of applied experience in the practical application of change communication methods combined with a solid understanding of how people go through change and the overall change process would be an asset
• Demonstrated ability to be creative in written content and experience in preparation of corporate and business communications, with the ability to prepare and deliver communications to a wide variety of audiences
• Familiarity with project management concepts and practices
• Strong knowledge of current technologies, digital content creation, social media platforms, photography and videography and dissemination techniques and methods
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and navigate through ambiguity with an acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
• Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills
• Strategic planning skills, including the ability to link communication plans and tactics to business objectives
• Ability to grasp complex concepts quickly and to translate these to meet the needs of various audiences
• Solid understanding of Technical concepts associated with change management communications
• Strong writing and verbal communications skills
