Responsibilities and duties
• Provide overall project Systems Completion leadership and expertise during construction and commissioning.
• Assists the Commissioning Manager in the preparation of completions documents and identifies resources to review the documents as required.
• Liaises and interfaces with Information Management positions to ensure completions data supports project IM requirements.
• Identifies and resolves project related completions issues.
• Coordinates with Commissioning and Completions advisor to maintain compliance with completions standards.
• Ensures appropriate witnessing and results of static and dynamic commissioning including FATs and SITs.
• Ensures appropriate systems MC, Commissioning, and Turnover documentation is completed.
• Provides information to project commissioning manager for daily status meetings.
• Closely works with the Contractors to ensure satisfactory project completion quality is attained.
• Assists Commissioning Manager in working with the Start-up Team to achieve successful turnover, start-up, and acceptance by Operations.
• Develop plans and interfaces to ensure a safe and effective field completion phase and transition of systems to steady state operations.
• Help to develop Turnover and Completion Packages.
• Ensure that projects utilize a computerized Systems Completion Database for completion progress tracking, certification, and quality purposes.
• Interface with Commissioning Manager in seeking assistance for solving problems.
• Provide front line project support and provide a single point of contact for incident management of the application.
• Willing to travel to projects as required to setup completions, support, provide training and orientation to systems completion processes.
• Mark system limits on engineering deliverables under the guidance of the commissioning manager.

Qualifications
• Essential Skills / Qualifications College/University and/or technical diploma
• 5+ years of Project Systems
• Mechanical Completion, Preservation, Commissioning and Operations management planning
• Expert technical skills and judgment
• Strong understanding of Project execution, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning & Completion practices and ability to communicate and train in such.
• Strong understanding of work planning, scheduling and tracking
• Demonstrated ability to develop successful working relationships and become a team player
• Ability to work in harsh environments, in stressful situations, and during unsociable hours.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of typical engineering tools (SPI, Document Management Databases, SPEL, etc.)
• Proficient in reading various types of engineering deliverables and be able to correlate with engineering data submissions.
• Proficient in industry standard information management practices.
• Possess expert or advanced skills in MS Office suite working knowledge and ability with Visual Basic and SQL such that the individual can speak intelligently to requirements and troubleshooting.
