Our client in the Hamilton area has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a a Continuous Improvement Specialist to join their team!

In this role, you would be responsible for supporting the operations in standardizing policies and procedures and implementing training programs.

Specific responsibilities would include:

• Creating policies & processes as well as standardizing across the network.
• Control the identification, storage, and easy access of all policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with management and human resources on performing Training Need Assessments (TNA) for all operational positions;
• Participate in the creation and documentation of training programs;
• Work in partnership with the human resources department to identify/train teammates who have the capacity to be trainers within the operation.
• Administer and deliver business process training to all teammates;
• Promote and develop a continuous improvement culture across the business;
• Participates in the improvement of information systems to better support operational needs;

As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, education, or relevant experience in related fields;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position;
• Exceptional communication skills in English & French, both verbal and written;
• Strong leadership and analytical skills;
• Excellent project management skills to develop and deliver training programs
• Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts, such as Lean Manufacturing, Green or Black belt or Six Sigma is an asset;
