Project Coordinator in Montreal

Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing Project Management team. The Project Coordinator will report to the Vice-President, Product Management and will assist initially with the coordination of a key new international project. The successful candidate will work closely with all project functional groups to track activities, maintain the project schedule, prepare internal and client communications and assist in other activities to contribute to meeting the Project Management Plan and the overall project objectives. The person we are seeking has exceptional analytical, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, is dynamic and flexible and has a professional and positive attitude. We are looking for someone who has experience in project coordination related to a complex, high-tech production, large scale architectural or technology deployment environment.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the master project schedule
• Coordinate communications between internal, remote and sub-contracted teams
• Prepare weekly project status reports
• Draft and coordinate distribution of client updates, RFIs and other communications
• Organize meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
• Prepare and organize project documentation and procedures
• Gather and organize project cost data
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• 2 years experience in a Project Expeditor, Project Coordinator or Project Manager role
• 2 years in a construction, architectural or technology deployment project role
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Project or Merlin and project management practices
• Excellent document management experience
• Have good working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Mac OS
• This position will involve extensive communication with international clients in English, so excellent communication skills in both English and French, written and spoken, are required. Spanish language would be an asset.
