Randstad is working with a prominent Real Estate/Property Development firm in Toronto who is seeking a Corporate Tax Analyst. Reporting to the VP Finance, the Corporate Tax Analyst will be responsible for the following:

• Tax Accounting and compliance – Preparation of tax reports and schedules related to the quarterly and annual external audit.
• Preparing reports related to “real estate investment trust’ and “mutual fund trust” compliance.
• Liaising with tax authorities and outside advisors.
• Compliance with internal controls over financial reporting and disclosure controls.
• On-going tax research on tax issues.

Qualifications
University Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience at an accounting firm (preferred) or real estate industry
• Real estate tax knowledge and real estate experience with Canadian tax is an asset
• GST/HST experience an asset
• Detail-oriented with excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Willing to learn and ability to work independently
• Experience with an ERP and Hyperion is an asset.
