Randstad is working with an established grocery chain who is seeking a Cost Accountant for a full time opportunity starting immediately. Please see job details below:

Specific Responsibilities
• Collaborate in the preparation of the periodic financial status of the factory.
• Collaborate in the development and establishment of management tools to accurately inform the Company of production costs of meats and the expenses of the operation.
• Manage and oversee the preparation of the financial information including operational expenses and fixed assets expenses in conjunction with Operations in accordance with the schedules.
• Participate in the preparation, the production and the validation of financial statements relative to the manufacturing costs of products and to the expenses of operation.
• Make financial analysis relative to the manufacturing and to the expenses of operation and make recommendations
to improve the processing.
• Elaborate, proposes, applies and controls the accounting procedures for the cost price and expenses operation.
• Participates in the analyses of the projects relative to the purchases of new equipment's for the processing plant in association with the director and the group leader of the cost department and Vantage.
• Coordinate the revision of all the standards of production for all the transformed products.
• Collaborate with the various internal and external participants of Metro within the setting of the operations of the
processing plant.

 College degree or University studies in accounting
 2-5 years cost accounting experience (perishable experience is an asset)
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 CPA completed or in progress
 Working knowledge of SAP, EXE and Excel
 Bilingual French is an asset
 Occasional travel
