This position will focus on providing cost & schedule reporting, monitoring and analysis of all projects within a specified Project Portfolio. The core competencies of the Portfolio Analyst & Corporate Reporting will include:

• Compile and report cost & schedule performance for designated projects.
• Provide management with visibility of project status and provide expected future state information
• Assist in the development of strategic and tactical initiatives (support the development and maintenance of procedures and systems to achieve effective project control and manage the implementation of project control procedures and systems)


• University degree in Engineering or Business; or Technical Diploma; or equivalent experience.

• Certified Cost Professional (AACE International) designation (preferred) or Project Management Professional.

• Industrial project experience in a Total Project Delivery environment would be an asset (this includes interfaces with the project development, engineering, procurement, construction, project accounting, contracting, execution, and commissioning phases of the project).

• Experience in project controls preferably within the liquids pipelining and facilities business.

• Experience with Oracle Financials and Markview Invoicing would be an asset.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (2010), Primavera Project Manager (V P6.7) and Microsoft Projects.

• Requires sound problem solving, decision making and analytical skills.

• A self starter who has the ability to work individually and within a team setting.

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal are required.

• Ability to effectively manage and prioritize workload, bring issues forward and develop working relationships at all levels of the organization.
