Role: Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Location: South Edmonton
Type: Permanent

We are currently seeking a qualified, motivated and experienced Customer Service Representative. Working with one of Canada’s largest industrial manufacturer and distributor, you will have the opportunity to work with a group of knowledgeable, passionate and tenured professionals as your team mates!

This is a very hands-on Customer Service Representative role in an industrial environment that requires a high level of customer service, located in South Edmonton.

This is a Monday to Friday role, however does also require rotational on-call schedule. You can expect an on-call schedule of 1 week, every 2 months.

Customer Service Representative Role Responsibilities:

* Responsible for answering telephone calls/emails and providing necessary information
and feedback on stocking levels order status, order tracking and order entry.
* Provide alternative products/solutions for out of stock or long lead time items to meet
customer needs.
* Work towards maintaining a 24 hour turnaround time on customer purchase orders and
accurate entry in database
* Ensure a proactive approach and delivery to calling customers, providing them with
information concerning the status of their orders as necessary.
* Maintain up to date and a high level of technical knowledge ensuring that best advice
and technical assistance is provided to customers and team members.
* Responsible for administrative management ensuring that existing processes are
regularly reviewed and recommendations made on process improvements.
* Additional duties as required

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience in a Customer Service Representative capacity in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preference given to those with experience in Industrial Fluid Power businesses.

* 2+ years experience in Industrial Sales, specifically with Fluid Power
* SAP experience preferred
* Analytical with mathematical and problem solving aptitude
