We're holding an open-house to meet great candidates who are looking for an amazing opportunity to work with one of Canada's largest and most desirable employers, an insurance company located in the heart of Toronto, right off the TTC line.

We're looking for a team of team of Underwriting Assistants/Data Entry Clerks for a 6 month contract with a possibility of extension or permanency. This is a fantastic opportunity to get high level training, and prove yourself within one of the top insurance companies in the country. Start date of October 29th,2018.

If you are a hard worker, reliable, pay attention to detail, and are quick to speak up if there is a problem with the data, then you are what we are looking for!

When: Thursday, October 11th, 2018, from 3:30 pm to 6 pm.
Where: Randstad, 777 Bay Street, Toronto, 19th floor.

The details for the role are as follows:

What YOU will be doing:
• Working in a team environment to help with implementation of a new system
• Supporting the underwriting team with entry of data related to insurance policies, to help with conversion to a new system
• Various other administrative tasks to support the underwriting team as needed
• Potentially supporting the team with testing the functionality of the new system, with ability to interact with internal parties and give your feedback
• Tracking and reporting of data
• Using Excel to create spreadsheets, or clean up data in spreadsheets

What YOU bring to the table:

• 1-3 years of administrative support/data entry experience within an office setting
• Proficiency working with computers, Microsoft Office/Excel, entering data with high speed and accuracy
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment and reliability
• Strong team player
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the insurance industry is an asset
• Post-secondary education preferred (eg. college diploma, general university degree)
