Our client in the insurance industry is currently looking for a data entry clerk to work in their DT (King) Office. This role has the potential to the extension.


• You will support and assistance to the underwriters in the processing of commercial policies, process various underwriting transactions within assigned authority including endorsements, renewals, and new business is critical.
• Assisting the underwriting team with processing of documents including providing administrative and clerical support for underwriters.
• Data entry to the RTM (internal) system.
• Filing, faxing and photocopying underwriting materials.
• Processing loss control reports and other assigned duties.
• Working as part of a team is important, as well as being a leader and delegate to others on the team to ensure deadlines are met.

• Work for a well-known insurance company
• Earn up to $19.70 per hour
• DT Toronto
• 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension

• 2 plus years of related experience in an administrative and support function.
• Insurance background would be ideal including practical experience, and /or completion of a related educational diploma/ degree/ accreditation.
• Excellent technical aptitude with web-based and in-house systems and databases, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication style with the capability to communicate at all levels (internal and external partners) is meaningful to the role. Along with a good level of articulation via phone, email, and in a meeting setting.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy is a critical component for success in this role
• Superior organization, time-management, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic priority changing environment.
• You will need to be confident, and comfortable to manage a healthy level of autonomy
