We are looking for a Data Governance Specialist -Senior

Role description:

The Data Governance advisor will actively engage Business and I&T stakeholders, facilitate communication and foster collaboration within Business sectors or projects to conduct data management assessment and identify pain points and gaps for capabilities including data quality and data policies and contributes to build a future state data governance strategy and roadmap by identifying and prioritizing required initiatives to address the pain points and gaps. Responsible to execute the identified data governance initiatives such as setting and deploying data policies, ensuring that the right processes and roles/responsibilities are defined and enforced. The Data Governance advisor will also play a key role in the development of Enterprise Data Governance standards, approach and deliverables and provide guidance and support to various audiences around Data Governance concepts and value.

Summary of tasks:
Responsible for the delivery of transversal initiatives to build, enhance and sustain enterprise wide data governance capabilities:
Responsible to lead the Data Governance forums (Data Governance Committee and Data Steward Council)
Be the primary point of contact for the business sectors executives and senior management for all subjects related to Data Governance capabilities setting and enforcement

Mandatory skills:
8 years of relevant Data Governance experience 15 years in IT
