Role: Data Modeler

Summary of tasks :
• Work with Business Analysts to refine understanding of requirements
• Provide detailed functional and non-functional requirements
• Generate user & solution process models, Logical and Physical Data Models with Erwin
• Provide functional design specifications
• Assist and guide requirements in the development of complex SQL code
• Validate data quality (data profiling)
• Perform root cause analysis
• Define and perform Quality Assurance Tests
• Support the business for the User Acceptance Tests

Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years BI analysis experience (functional and non-fonctional requirements, functional design specifications)
• 5+ years BI Data Modeler (dimensional)
• Strong experience of dimensional and relational modeling techniques and tools
• 2+ years working with Erwin or other modeling tools
• 5+ years of SQL knowledge and experience in writing SQL scripts and related
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different users in English
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodology
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision
• Experience with database application development or management
• Interprets business requirements and determines optimum BI solutions
• Experience with database application tuning
• Knowledge of DB2, Netezza, UDB, Oracle, SQLserver or other RDBMS
• Specific job experience in business intelligence or data warehouse environment
• Excellent communication of both written and spoken English.
