Do you have experience with Raiser's Edge, Blackbaud or Salesforce? Are you enjoy donor relations and comfortable speaking with prospective donors?

We are looking for a personable and experienced Development Officer to take on a 1 month contract with a possibility of extending with a major Not for Profit charitable organization near the Yonge and Eglinton area. In this role, you will be supporting the major gifts fundraising efforts in reaching their fundraising goals.

Development Officer Responsibilities:
• tracking donors and updating their information through Raiser's Edge
• compile research on prospective donors
• coordinate meetings with donors and prospects
• prospecting donors over the phone and through email
• assisting with coming up with solicitation and stewardship strategies
• build relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
• liaising with senior executives in a professional manner and high level

Qualifications
• 1 - 3 years experience working in a not for profit or charitable organization
• Strong understanding of fundraising fundamentals
• 2+ years experience with Raiser's Edge or similar CRM programs (i.e. Blackbaud or Salesforce)
• 2+ years experience with prospect research
• 2+ years experience with donor stewardship or donor processing
• Strong organizational skills, analytical skills, and a strong team player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates the ability to be discrete, diplomatic and tact
• Must have post-secondary education or equivalent experience - Fundraising Management Degree is an asset
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset
