Our Mission

Our Client (located in Liberty Village is looking for a Devops Engineer. They are looking for a subject matter expert they can rely on for scaling their systems as well as provide advise and support to their developers and engineers.

Qualifications:
Expertise and experience in operating/ scaling Big Data and NoSQL systems (Hadoop / HDFS, Kafka, Cassandra) (3 years)
In Depth Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) knowledge & experience
Knowledge of and experience with automation, testing, integration, monitoring, deployment, management and incident response
Experience with DevOps toolchain( Ansible, Docker, Git)
Coding skills with Python, Java, Bash
Knowledgeable in configuration management best-practices
Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and provide important contributions both individually and as a team member
Ability to learn and implement new technologies and best-practices in a constantly evolving environment
Ability to work independently with meeting deadlines at a timely manner

Job Functiions:


Build and maintain tools and processes to provide support to the engineering teams
Work with developers to define and implement application performance metrics
Configure, enhance and support systems performance monitoring and alerting
Collaborate with the engineering teams to automate and improve testing/deployment pipelines
Perform application, systems integration testing
Provide incident response, troubleshooting and follow-up
Develop and improve operational practices and procedures
