We are looking for a Digital Data Analyst for our client in Toronto-GTA on a Permanent basis.

This candidate will be responsible for measuring, analyzing and reporting digital data across all channels including webshop, mobile, digital marketing avenues, SEO/SEM as well as derive insights from data to help improve digital channel performance for all Operating Companies. This position requires the candidate to have strong business acumen and research, analytical and problem-solving skills
as he/she will be required work on tasks that are diversified, follow a wide range of standardized slightly complex procedures and are considered semi-routine and may be of several varieties.

What the job entails:
- Someone who can work closely with the Business Intelligence group and external partners to build predictability and propensity models that help drive a more personalized and efficient customer experience
- The candidate will be responsible for analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, and Google BigQuery
- Analyze online customer paths, heat maps and content usage to suggest user experience and interface improvements and conduct Performance tracking on digital campaigns such as but not limited to: email marketing, SEM, display, SEO, social, special online promotions, multi-variant tests
- Analyze data from multiple customer touch points like webshop, mobile application, branches, rep interaction to understand full customer journey and channel attribution
- Work closely with OpCo digital leads to build dashboards, track and report on campaign performance and answer key business questions
-Assist in preparing forecasts and budgets and conduct research and analysis to support business cases as well as Collect, analyze and report on online customer satisfaction scores – provide insights on areas of improvement

What are they looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in field of computer science, information systems, statistics, or data analysis
- A background of experience in a related role – e-commerce experience preferred.
- Hands-on working experience with analytical tools, reporting tools, and corresponding software
- Someone who has demonstrated experience in data visualization programs such as Power BI, Google Data Studio, QlikView or Tableau and understands how digital metrics relate to financial performance – revenue, margin, overall ROI etc.
- Strong hands-on working experience with Google Analytics Premium or Google Analytics, with intermediate understanding of advanced feature like data import, custom dimensions/metrics, channel grouping and multi-channel funnels
