Are you a Operations Manager – looking for your next challenge in the fine jewelry market?
Do you have experience with international operations and strong supply chain experience?


What will you be doing in this role?
Our client is the third generation Jewelers operating globally as an Online Fine Jewelry company with head office in Toronto and Argentina.
Due to growth, the client is hiring an Operational Manager with the following responsibilities:

• Oversee Direct Customer fulfillment team and ensure daily targets are met
• Build Direct Customer Projections including outbound flow forecasts and capacity/resource management
• Work with Purchasing team on forecasting made to stock purchasing and JIT production - adjust based on previous history and order volumes
• Optimize Inventory levels
• Develop a road map and implement changes to continuously improve the fulfillment process (Turn around time, Quality, Productivity)
• ensure operations are scalable and agile
• Design and Present KPIs that are required by operational, managerial and Executive levels to reflect performance of operations
• 2 direct reports - Purchasing and Fulfillment Supervisor
• Hours: 9:00am - 6:30pm

What do you bring to the role?

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering/Business Administration/Commerce
• 5+ years in an Operations Manager role
• E-commerce background an asset
• Exposure to lean, six sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Financial ability - understands accounting implications
• Data driven - comfortable with numbers, projections, forecasting and analyzing data
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• interested in building processes, procedures and team

Compensation package

• Salary range $70-90,000 per year based on experience
• Benefits after 3 months -In the process of implementing
• 3 weeks vacation
• Options plan - Equity up to 20% of annual salary
• Laptop
