The Client focused on a preventative software in financial crimes and fraud is looking to bring on board a Director of Sales in their corporate office in downtown Toronto.

You Must Be Able To
• Lead, mentor and coach a team of sales and pre-sales professionals
• Sell enterprise-level software in the risk and compliance space
• Understand, position and articulate the value and/or compelling benefits of business solutions
• Plan, present, negotiate and exceed customer expectations
• Inject and sustain positive energy and enthusiasm into an organization

What You Will Be Doing
• Lead a team of Account Managers (AMs), Inside Sales and Pre-Sales to achieve and exceed targets
• Develop and implement the sales plan for North America
• Work closely with marketing to enable sustainable lead and opportunity generation
• Grow and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities
• Manage and achieve team’s quarterly and annual sales target
• Negotiate and close contracts with Account Managers as well as help grow existing accounts
• Develop and maintain a wide range of relationships with customers, prospects and partners
• Identify and develop future business opportunities
• Grow team’s consultative selling capabilities and operational disciplines and structure
• Work with other groups including the Analytics and Data Science, Marketing and Product Management to be the voice of the customer
• Be an ambassador for company’s financial crime fighting products

Requirements
• 5+ years' experience in selling enterprise solutions to customers
• Ability to understand and convey client business requirements
• Experience of selling complex, large scale software solutions, direct and via partnerships
• Experience with data analytics, AML, KYC, compliance, third-party risk or other similar domains
• Creative and commercially astute and able to eliminate sales obstacles and objections
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
• Good internal and external social capabilities
• Ability to manage and exceed clients' expectations during the sales process
• Organized and analytical
• Excellent spoken and written English is a must. Additional languages are an advantage.
• Openness and aptitude for learning new skills and tools
• Great teammate attitude and holds themselves accountable for delivering great results
