As a District Manager, you are a self starter, motivated leader with proven results for sales development and growth. You have a proven track record for the successful development of your direct reports careers.

Our mission is to find a motivating District Manager leader with a hands-on approach and outstanding customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be able to meet and exceed sales targets consistently while providing all the necessary support to the store management staff. This District Manager position has 4 stores reporting directly, with a 5th store opening planned for fall of 2018

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ensure the highest level of Customer Service throughout stores
-Manage Sales and Operations to achieve Financial Targets
-Oversee and coach on Marketing and Merchandise placements
-Hire, train, coach, retain Store Management teams
-Teach and train Store Managers how to hire, train, coach and retain their teams
-Lead stores to Loss Prevention Excellence

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
-Achieve Budgeted Sales targets per store
-Liaise with HR to proactively recruit and hire qualified Managers to meet District needs
-Conduct on going Training sessions of Management staff
-Build a succession plan for each role in the district to proactively meet growth requirements
-Coordinate new store openings as required
-Support problem solving to positively affect store Service, Efficiency and Productivity
-Must have a flexible schedule including occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
-Must have the ability to travel as required

We are looking for a confident District Manager, that can build a team enabling them to perform and provide a positive and dynamic atmosphere. You are business minded with the ability to analyse and execute plans of action to ensure top performance and optimize results.

- 3 to 5 years Supervisory experience, preferably in retail or big box environment environment
- Experience training and developing work force, building relationships and talent management
- Experience with merchandising and successful store operations
- Experienced with new store openings
- Excellent abilities to communicate in a clear, concise manner and ability to listen attentively to others
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Excellent time management skills
