Professional Electrical Engineer - P.Eng
Residential, Commercial and Industrial Engineering Consultants

Our client in London, Ontario are growing and looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their growing team of engineers and drafters; privately owned, providing Mechanical and Electrical Engineering design services in London for almost 30 years. Our client prides themselves on using the latest technology in designs, in addition to attracting and employing highly motivated, well-qualified, energetic and creative personnel.

Electrical Engineer Requirements:
•Professional Engineer Status – P.Eng from PEO for stamping is REQUIRED
•3+ Years’ working in project teams in electrical design of commercial and industrial facilities
•Knowledgeable of the Ontario and Canadian Building and Electrical Code
•LEED Project Experience is an asset but not required
•Experience working with engineering simple to complex electrical buildings including lighting and power distribution and utilization of design programs such as AutoCAD or REVIT
•Ability to work independently or in a team setting on complex institutional, industrial and commercial engineering projects

Electrical Engineer Job Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer, your Primary responsibilities will include all aspects of design and analyses including system selection, life cycle cost calculations, and implementation of building systems:
•Produce electrical tender documents including specifications and drawings using AutoCAD
•Design power distribution and generation systems, communication systems, lighting layouts, and fire alarm systems for different types of residential and commercial buildings
•Work on various small, medium, and large projects including fit ups and new construction
•Produce technical construction documents including concept designs, reports, project cost estimates, change orders, field investigation reports and instructions
•Attend meeting with clients, project managers, other consultants, suppliers and contractors for ongoing project communication and to ensure design integrity
•Developed working relations with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers
•Additional responsibilities as assigned
