On behalf of our client in London Ontario we are recruiting for an Electronics Technician for a permanent opportunity in a busy Manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Completed Electronics Technician diploma, or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience prototyping and testing of electronic board assemblies
• Excellent soldering skills
• Extensive knowledge of AC/DC power sources
• Effective written and verbal communications skills
• Collaborating experience in small groups

The primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
• Testing and debugging electronic assemblies at board level using lab equipment (AC, DC power sources, oscilloscope, DMM)
• Troubleshooting of electronic assemblies, providing input to failure analysis
• Assist with the design, construction and deployment of test fixtures
• Use programming tools to program and assist with debugging micro-controller devices
• Conduct and support thermal testing of electronic assemblies
• Write test plans and test reports
