What will you do?
As an Embedded Manual QA Tester with our Burnaby client, you will:
• Work with management, developers, and quality assurance personnel to identify areas where automation will increase efficiency.
• Review product requirements, design specifications, and acceptance criteria to build an automation strategy providing long term product coverage.
• Make use of current technologies to provide extensible automation infrastructures and implementation of best practices.
• Perform Test lead duties and participate in Agile Sprint Planning.
• Create/perform Manual & Automated test cases/scripts.
• Mentor associate level automation engineers on the team.
• Assist in determining root cause analysis of failed tests and ensure their reliability.

How do you qualify?
To qualify for the Embedded QA Tester role with our Burnaby client, you must have:
• A University Degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited post-secondary institution (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years' industry experience as an Embedded Manual QA tester.
• Experience with regression testing and verification.
• Experience conducting QA testing with hardware.
• Experience with Agile Test Methodology.
• Experience with JIRA bug tracker in conjunction with Zepher.
• Experience with and embedded framework working w/ Daemons.
• Experience with Jenkins.
• Comfortability/familiarity with Linux preferred.
