TORONTO PUBLIC SECTOR CLIENT REQUIRES A FULL TIME ENTERPRISE DATA ARCHITECT




Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Must possess a minimum of 15 years database management related experience of which would approximately include 10 years in data warehouse and business intelligence management and 5 years at a senior level.

• Requires DBA Certification with in depth knowledge and proven implementation experience of data design and modeling of database structures, data warehouse, and the applicable data privacy practices and laws.

• Ideally, possess extensive experience with n-tier and SOA environment as well as strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols and stands, including TCP/IP.

• Must possess exceptional leadership, analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Customer relationship and time-management skills
• Requirements and information gathering skills
• Collaboration and teambuilding skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Meeting facilitation and presentation skills


Mandatory Education, Training, Certifications or Designations Required

Requires a BSc. Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education, experience and or training; an MBA with technology as a core component would be an asset.

Preferred

• Current certification in one or more of the following RDBMS technologies would be considered an asset: SQL Server, IBM DB2, Informix and Oracle.
