If you are, then you may be interested in our Events Administrative Assistant role with our client who is a not for profit organization that focuses on innovative research.

Events Administrative Assistant's Primary Responsibilities:
• administrative and logistical support for the Events team
• prepare paperwork and agreements for guest speakers
• create, schedule, and send out invitations through MailChimp
• manage and update the database to record donors, speakers, and attendees
• assist with event registration and payment
• follow up with all vendors for event execution
• assist with event set up and take down
• provide superior customer service to internal and external staff
• schedule meetings and conference calls
• assist with special projects
• ad hoc clerical and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE SKILLS
• 3 - 5 years of administrative support experience
• 1+ years of events administration experience is an asset
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office suite
• High attention to detail
• Highly organized and a strong multi-tasking skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates tact, professionalism, and strong judgment when liaising with high profile stakeholders
• Possess research and basic sourcing experience
• Resourceful and a self-starter attitude
• Strong customer service skills
• Proven ability to grasp new technology or data management systems quickly

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
• Salesforce, Pardot, and MailChimp experience
