Are you a Facility & Maintenance Manager in the commercial industry? Are you looking to take on a new project? This role is for you! We are looking for a Facility & Maintenance Manager to join the team in Stoney Creek.

As a Facility & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of several commercial and residential facilities
• Ensure all facilities are up to code and compliant with any relevant legislation
• Providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment, structures and grounds on the property
• Perform regular property inspections
• Manage loss prevention, risk management, security, maintenance, marketing, landscaping, snow removal, ventilation, and cooling of facilities
• Analyze and distribute monthly financial statements including operating variances from budget
• Plan and manage replacement of capital expense items such as HVAC systems, roof systems, and parking lot surfaces
• Manage request for quotations, contracts, supervise all work and approve invoices for all services required to maintain the properties

As a qualified Facility & Maintenance Manager, you meet the following requirements:

• 3+ years facilities management experience
• Experience working with vendors and contractors
• Working knowledge of Ontario Building Code
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and experience troubleshooting and repair of such
• Experience managing capital expense items
• Experience working with Requests for Quotations, creating contracts, and approving invoices
• Experience maintaining heating and air conditioning systems, boilers, pumps, fan units, control panels, thermostats, and cooling towers
• Knowledge of environmental safeguards and alarm systems
