Are you the type of person who enjoys working on mechanical or electrical related problems? We have partnered with our client on their search for an Field Service Technician for the Ontario area. We are looking for someone who loves the challenge of fixing things, from engines to cooling systems.

As a Field Service Technician in the Ontario area you will be doing the following,

- Troubleshoot issues with client via usage of company diagnostic system
- Perform maintenance on components in co generation plants - Generator, Engine, Cooling Fans,
- Able to replace bearings, rods, pistons, push rods, sparkplugs, pistons, cylinder heads, pumps, fans
- Repair minor and major electrical issues

As a qualified Field Service Technician you will possess the following qualifications,

- Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in a shop or manufacturing related environment
- Physically able and willing to work long hours to get the job done
- Able to lift heavy objects and rig engines to be lifted
- Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to work holidays and weekends as needed
- Able to travel Ontario, across Canada, short term to States - Travel component is 70% to 30% away but will vary based on customer needs length of time
- Have valid passport
- Have valid and clean driver’s license
- Safety minded
