Our client in Vaughan is looking for a Filler, for direct/permanent hire! The client is a paint manufacturer, working with water-based paints (NO solvent smells). The filler will be responsible for providing support to the batch-mixers, and setting up machinery and filling equipment. Candidate must be able to do heavy lifting.

Role: Filler
Location: Vaughan
Pay: $19-$23/hr (with pay increase every 6 months, and rates reviewed every 2 years)

Description:
- Set up, monitor and operate filling equipment, including but not limited to computers and controls on said filling lines
- Communicate with maintenance and management on issues concerning filling lines
- Comply with all safety rules and standard safety practices
- Keep workstation area and housekeeping at company standards
- Maintain and improve production line efficiency standards through teamwork
- Produce quality product in the required time frame
- Perform quality test to check fill weights, proper labeling and coding
- Perform proper cleaning of product tanks
- Ability to perform tasks in other areas if needed
- Ability to lift cases and pails of products and load onto filling line as necessary
