Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will participate in warehouse operations and activities. You will be working for a company that manufactures and distributes industrial and commercial shelves and racks. This job is ideal for you if you have a long-term focus on growing your career and are open to learning different aspects of the business.

As a Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator, you will be required to:

- Offload goods from trucks, note any damage and/or shortage of packages on waybill immediately.
- Inspect all goods for quality and damages, recording and reporting any discrepancies.
- Counting, verifying and accurately recording incoming and outgoing shipments as instructed.
- Palletize orders in preparation for shipping.
- Execute in-shop assembly of shelving, tables, cabinets, and related equipment, if required.
- Load onto trucks for shipment.
- Date, time stamp, and sign shipping copies.
- Assist in metal fabricating department when required, which could include painting with a spray gun, cutting metal parts on a band saw, and wiping parts prior to painting.

Qualifications
- Must have at least 2+ years experience on the sit-down counterbalance Forklift (Electric)
- External forklift certification
- Shipping and receiving experience
- Good communication and customer Service skills
- Ability to learn and handle basic computer operations.
- Comfortable with physically demanding tasks and ability to lift goods up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility with what your job requirements will be.
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Warehouse Management Courses are considered an asset
