We are currently recruiting for a heavy forklift operator to assist within a manufacturing/distribution environment.

Start date: ASAP
Pay: $22.00/hr
Location: Winston Churchill and Hwy 401
Shift: 5:00pm – 5:00am rotating shifts (Working 3 days in one week/working 4 days in the following week)

Duties:
- Material handling metals and steel products
- Operating the Reach/Counterbalance/Side Loader
- Verifying, storing, moving, handling hazardous and non-hazardous
- Overhead crane operating
- Willing to learn how to operate and program furnaces (heat treatment)
- Disposing of materials
- Lifting material weighing up to 50lbs
- Strapping
- Basic data entry skills on computers
- Ability to use and understand tape measures
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Forklift certified on all three required machines
- Must be able to perform basic mathematic calculations of standard/metric measurements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Takes initiative and accountability
- Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals and safety rules
- Ability to read and understand specifications and flow charts
