Are you a Designer Engineer looking for a fastgrowing company in the telecommunication industry?
Do you have experience with fibre optic design?
Do you have experience using network X software?

We are looking for 3 individuals to joying a fast growing company providing service for the telecommunication industry in Fiber Optics design for high-rise residential and commercial network projects.

Prepare outside plant design including, aerial, buried and underground elements for new FTT network system.
Design optimal route for the layout of fiber optic networks to service residents and commercial building.
Field audits of utility poles identifying service providers and cable types (e.g., POWER, CATV, COAX cable, Fiber cable, copper cable,), hardware, span lengths and attachment heights.
Conduct a route or site walk down to collect data of all surface features and underground utility data necessary.
reviewing drawing package for submittal to local jurisdictions to obtain a construction permit.
Coordinate and obtain all land use authority and municipal permits, agreements and consents
Produce plans for municipal consent, utility permits, and construction purposes;
Coordinate and obtain local electrical authority permits including make ready and sag calculations

What you bring to the role

College Diploma in Engineering technology
Electrical background is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience with outside plant network infrastructure
Knowledge of technical standards for the design of outside plant networks;
Knowledge of aerial and underground infrastructure, fiber system design;

Compensation package
Wage from $28.00 to $32.00 /hour + overtime
