Randstad Canada is looking full time Machine Operators to work with one of our partners in the food manufacturing industry. Give us a call to learn more about this direct hire opportunity.

Job title: Machine Operators – Brampton site location

- Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate authorities to initiate action
- Ensure that all work is performed according to GMP, HACCP, SQF, CFIA, safety and all other food and quality regulations
- Receive product from the line supplier
- Check and adjust machines when required
- Monitor lines to ensure proper amount of product is being received
- Quality control and checks to verify that the machines are producing the expected result
- Contact maintenance team when and if necessary
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical/operational issues with the machinery
- Filling out paperwork as needed
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Other duties as assigned

Who are we looking for?
- A minimum of 6 months in the food industry is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand for up to an 8 hour shift
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic mathematical skills
- Hoist trained – Monorail 1000lbs, Spreader Beam
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Able to work under minimal supervision
- Able to work flexible hours
