Our Client, manufacturing industry is looking for a GLOBAL IT manager to manage the entire IT services and operations of their multiple manufacturing locations. There will be a travel involved outside of Canada.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain company IT architecture/ infrastructure in order to drive and ensure growth and productivity
Manage the company’s PCs and Servers- mainly Windows and Linux.
Manage their IT staff in different locations
Plan, develop, and manage all IT services, programs, and support throughout the global IT network across all sites
Provide global IT support that includes hardware maintenance, server security, software updates etc.
Oversee the implementation, deployment and operation of information systems and technology solutions for business needs
Develop and manage a budget for technology, IT services and operations
Demonstrate an active approach for urgent situations and willing to get involved for achieving goals and objectives
Conduct capacity planning for network bandwidth, storage requirements, messaging, web sites, and other applications
Responsible for developing and complying with systems and procedures and timelines set by the company

Requirements:

Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer science, or any relevant experience
Strong experience and knowledge of networking, operating systems, and server architectures
Advanced knowledge and experience with VPN networks, firewalls, encryption, other aspects of network security technologies and database system knowledge (SQL, MySQL)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
