Heavy Duty Mechanic

Randstad Engineering is recruiting on behalf of our clients, who have been operating for over 50 years, family owned and operated and based out of the London head office. Due to current growth, the organization is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join their team; the ideal candidate would have extensive experience repairing a wide range of heavy equipment such as excavator and backhoes.

The primary responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
•Repairing a wide range of civil construction equipment including excavators, bulldozers, packers, and tractor backhoes
•Perform repairs on LP systems, diesel systems, reading and repairing hydraulic and electrical schematics and systems
•Willing to learn and take direction while communicating with others respectfully
•Must be able to work under pressure effectively without strain
•Work overtime when required

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Heavy Duty Mechanic License OR Journeyman License
•5+ Years’ experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment
•Previous Excavator, Bulldozer or other heavy equipment experience is required
•Previous experience with Aerial & Lift Truck required
•Strong computer and trouble shooting skills
•Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
•Able to contribute positively to a quality team environment
•Willingness and desire to learn
•A self-starter and work under minimal supervision
