Client focuses on safety and stability of housing and the practical support they need to regain their dignity and take control of their lives in Toronto.


•Provide technical support to staff in Windows and iOS environment
oDevelop and implement standard support model and processes using industry best practices
oRespond to and assist with all service calls within predefined service level agreements
oTier 1 (and Tier 2 where possible) support to all hardware and software-related matters
oExplain highly technical terms and concepts in plain language to end-users
oDevelop and foster effective working relationships with internal stakeholders
oAssist in developing various reporting products to monitor the helpdesk function
oProactively assess helpdesk processes and suggest options to continually improve efficiency and customer service
oDevelop and implement plans to improve organization’s use and understanding of technology
•Support the System Administrator in the setup and deployment of new technology and related devices
oModify hardware and software configurations in machines and networking equipment based on specifications
oDeploy hardware in accordance with LOFT standards
oInstall and remove software from machines
oManage IT-related inventory from ongoing support and new deployments
oResearch and analyze new and emerging technologies and processes to continually enhance LOFT’s use of technology


•College diploma in Computer Systems Technology or related field and/or a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience within a windows environment
•Undergraduate degree in related field would be considered an asset
•A+ and/or Network+ certification would be considered an asset
•Experience with Windows 7, Windows 10, iOS, and other common platforms
•Versed in various ticketing systems to manage ongoing technology-related issues
•Experience working in customer service setting with many stakeholders
•Experience with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word required.
•Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
•Detail-oriented and process-driven with a demonstrated ability to consistently and effectively produce high quality work.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Excellent skills explaining complex concepts in a manner which is simple and easy to understand.
•Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically.
•Demonstrated collaboration and facilitation skills.
•Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills including ability to resolve conflicts, diplomacy, achieve consensus and able to work comfortably with staff and external stakeholders, including clinicians.
•Innovative thinker with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
•Demonstrated ability to work under direction of senior staff, but with minimal supervision as a self-starter
