Our client, located in Mississauga, is looking for an IT Inventory Management Operation Specialist to join their team for a minimum 3 month contract.

Job Description:
• Inventory Management - Receiving new equipment, taking inventory, entering in BMAT
• Preparing pallets for end of life decommissioned computer equipment, taking inventory, documenting each equipment by serial and asset tag number updating DB
• Preparing pallets for building ‘C’ storage
• Storage room updating inventory, removing old EOL equipment
• Keeping IT aisles organized
• Organizing Inventory count and Shipping equipment to other regions
• Shipping equipment for repairs, logging in repair binder
• Receiving repaired inventory, logging in repair binder, remedy ticket updates
• Test equipment once returned from repairs
• OCE Printer operation e.g. set-up, cleaning forms, adding to the setup menu
• Controlling printers through the console e.g. starting, draining, restarting, interrupting, varying online and offline, line count, and duplicating a print job
• Tape operation e.g. mounting a tape, cleaning, what to do when a swap occurs,
• General understanding of the various systems and how they relate to one another.
• OPS support for damaged equipment
• Tape swap and clean indicators, alarm indicators on servers
• Basic understanding of computer / printer troubleshooting
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
