HR Coordinator
Manufacturing | Etobicoke

Our client in North York is currently looking for a Human Resources Coordinator. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide HR support to the temporary employee group. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment, intermediate Excel skills and is bilingual in English and Russian or Ukrainian.

What you’ll be doing:
* Employee Relations - Act as a point of contact and resource for temporary employees, maintain an open-door environment, develop and maintain relationships, employee engagement activities and programs
* Recruitment Coordination- Liaise with managers to identify staffing needs, liaise with recruitment agencies; Support the recruitment processes to help meet demand
* Policies and Procedures – communicate policies and provide training to employees, advise on an ESA issues
* Administration – onboarding, maintain employee files, HR reporting, track sick time, vacation, leaves etc.
* Training - developing, coordinating and facilitating training for employees, maintaining the training database
* Other HR projects as required

Do you have the right qualifications?
* College or University Degree in Human Resources Management or related field; CHRP is an asset
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in Human Resources
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Bilingual – English as well as Russian and/or Ukrainian
* Experience using Excel to analyze data
* Experience working with temporary recruitment agencies is an asset (but not required)
