We want to connect with HR Business Partners with 5+ years of experience and are open to roles in Vaughan.
Duties Include:
- Advise management and employees on HR related issues (i.e. conflict management, policy compliance, development, terminations)
- Stay up-to-date on current legislation and HR procedures
- Use creative strategies to design effective recruitment, selection, and retention methods
- Maintain the company’s pay scale, training documents, and management guidelines
- Conduct annual trainings
- Manage WSIB cases and actively participate on the JHSC (Joint Health and Safety committee)
- Develop improved workplace strategies, and promote the use of safe practices (i.e. the use of PPE and promoting food safety standards)
- Implement HR initiatives/projects that align with overall business objectives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of HR managerial experience
- Experience in Manufacturing/Food Industry an ASSET
- Strong competency of Canadian employment labour laws
- Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and ability to take initiative
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Team-player, with the ability to motivate others to achieve optimal results
