Company that is in the transport industry is currently looking junior Import / Export Coordinator specialised in air and ocean, for a permanent position in Ville Saint-Laurent.

The Import / Export Coordinator specialized in air and ocean would have the following tasks:

-Book Air and Ocean shipments

-Rate negotiations with airlines & steamshiplines

-Receive calls from customers and process orders

-Daily tracings and follow-ups with customers and carriers

-Provide quotations to customers and make follow-ups

-Customer Service

-All other related tasks


The salary proposed is negotiable depending on the experience of the candidate, work from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.


Requirements:

-High-school diploma and/or CIFFA certificate

-Must have two (2) years freight forwarding experience.

-Knowledge of transportation industry for air and ocean (a must), truck (an asset)

-Knowledge of world geography

-Knowledge of carriers (services and locations they provide and serve)

-French & English Speaking, other languages an asset

-Knowledge of MS Office.

-Detail oriented, autonomous, organized, very good judgment, customer service and negotiation skills. Must communicate well.
