Randstad, on behalf of our busy, reputable client - is looking for an Industrial Mechanic to join a fast paced Maintenance Team in the South side of Calgary!

In this role, you will be working directly with the plant manager maintaining a safe maintenance of the facility. The main areas of responsibility include equipment maintenance and work order program.

Job Duties:

- Daily Planning and scheduling of work & Assist troubleshooting
- Successfully finding the Root Cause of all machinery break down
- Implement a preventative maintenance work work program
- Ensure the performance, condition and reliability of all plumbing, mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Maintain Inventory, order materials and equipment as required
- Ensure the outside services are supervisors and completed in contracts and work orders.
- Assist in implemented, with maintaining written maintenance policies and procedures


- Journeyman ticket is not needed, but an asset.
- Experience working in fast paced production companies.
- Ability to Troubleshoot Pumps, Hydraulics, Motors, Pour line machines.
- Electrical Aptitude is a must, but not looking for an electrician.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- some Welding experience would be good
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to use an over head crane
- Forklift experience
- PLC Fault finding experience

Job will be roughly 75% Mechanical and 25% Electrical. Both Days and Afternoon shifts are needed. For the right person, these roles will start immediately.
