Randstad is hiring an Industrial Millwright for a unique opportunity in the Toronto region. Are you a hard worker not afraid of a challenging environment? Do you enjoy working with heavy duty machinery? Are you a motivated and innovative individual who strives in challenging environments? As the Industrial Millwright for this Toronto based company you will be responsible for the following key job duties.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance duties on all equipment and machinery throughout the plant as well as outdoors machinery (balers, cranes, hoppers, large industrial hydraulic systems (8000lb hydraulic cylinders/10,000 litre hydraulic tanks)
- Daily inspection of instrumentation and systems to ensure no deviation from safe working order
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on hydraulic/pneumatic systems, machinery and equipment
- Fabricate parts using mill, lathe machines to make parts used in machinery repairs; perform repair welds on machinery equipment as required
- Install and commission new machinery and equipment as required
- Must be comfortable working on heavy duty machinery
- Must be comfortable working outside when needed

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Licensed Millwright with 3 or more year experience in the manufacturing/industrial sector
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of hydraulics, valves, large industrial pumps, conveyor systems, electrical switches/sensors/relays
- Welding and general machining skills for machinery repair purposes
- PLC troubleshooting is an desired asset
- Capable of working independently on shift
