Randstad is hiring an Industrial Millwright for a unique opportunity in the Toronto region. As the Industrial Millwright for this Toronto based company you will be responsible for the following key job duties.

- Perform preventative maintenance duties on all equipment and machinery throughout the plant and yard
- Daily inspection of instrumentation and systems to ensure no deviation from safe working order
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on hydraulic/pneumatic systems, machinery and equipment
- Fabricate parts using mill, lathe machines to make parts used in machinery repairs; perform repair welds on machinery equipment as required
- Install and commission new machinery and equipment as required

- Full time, permanent employment (job stability)
- Up to $40 per hour

- Licensed Millwright with 3 or more year experience in the manufacturing/industrial sector
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of hydraulics, valves, large industrial pumps, conveyor systems, electrical switches/sensors/relays
- Welding and general machining skills for machinery repair purposes
- PLC troubleshooting is an desired asset
- Capable of working independently on shift
